Our History
Faithful Grace Christian Academy was founded in 2000 by Tommy and Deborah Honeycutt, driven by a conviction that their community deserved an educational alternative rooted in Scripture and academic excellence. Recognizing a need for Christ-centered schooling, the Honeycutts stepped forward in faith and established a school that would place biblical truth at the heart of every lesson, every discipline, and every relationship within its walls.
From the outset, Faithful Grace adopted the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum, a nationally recognized, individualized learning system built on mastery-based progression. Rather than advancing students by age or calendar, A.C.E. ensures each student genuinely comprehends a concept before moving forward. Phonetically grounded reading instruction, diagnostic placement testing, and character development woven throughout every grade level have been hallmarks of the Faithful Grace experience from day one.
With a student-to-teacher ratio of just 7:1, Faithful Grace built a reputation for individualized attention that larger institutions simply cannot offer. Graduates have gone on to higher education, vocational achievement, and lives of service, equipped with both knowledge and the biblical character to navigate the world with integrity and purpose.
In 2025, Faithful Grace entered a significant new chapter by opening a campus in Stigler, Oklahoma with the help of several local families. Looking ahead, the Academy is developing a Kindergarten and "Learning to Read" phonics program that will extend enrollment from Kindergarten through 12th grade and invite families to partner with Faithful Grace from the very start of their children's educational journey.

Biblical Foundation

Curriculum Overview
Quality Academics and Biblical Character — Grades 2nd through 12th
Faithful Grace Christian Academy delivers instruction through the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum: a proven, individualized learning system used by thousands of Christian schools worldwide. Built on mastery-based progression, A.C.E. ensures each student fully understands a concept before advancing. Biblical principles, phonetic-based reading, and character formation are woven throughout every subject area and grade level.
Bible & Biblical Principles
Scripture is the foundation of all learning at Faithful Grace. Daily Bible study, biblical worldview integration, and character-based instruction ensure that faith is never separate from academics.
Language Arts & Phonics
The A.C.E. program employs a structured, phonetic-based approach to reading that builds strong foundational literacy skills. Grammar, composition, spelling, and written communication are developed systematically across all grade levels.
Mathematics
Mathematics instruction follows a mastery-based sequence from foundational arithmetic through advanced coursework. Students progress only after demonstrating true competency, building a strong and lasting mathematical foundation.
Science
Science is taught through a biblical worldview that honors God as Creator. Students explore biology, chemistry, earth science, and physics with curiosity and reverence, understanding creation as a reflection of God's wisdom and order.
Social Studies & History
From local community to world civilizations, students examine history, government, and geography through the lens of God's sovereignty. They learn to understand the past — and engage the present — with discernment and biblical perspective.
Literature & Creative Writing
Students engage with a broad range of literature and develop their own voice through creative and expository writing. Emphasis is placed on clear communication, critical thinking, and appreciation for the written word as a gift from God.
Character Development
Character building is not an add-on at Faithful Grace — it is embedded throughout the A.C.E. curriculum at every level. Students are consistently encouraged toward honesty, diligence, respect, and Christlike virtue as integral parts of their education.
Diagnostic Placement & Assessment
Every student begins with comprehensive diagnostic testing to identify their precise academic level across all subjects. This ensures instruction is always appropriately challenging — eliminating gaps while preventing unnecessary repetition.
Expanding to Kindergarten — "Learning to Read" Program Coming Soon
Faithful Grace Christian Academy is actively developing a Kindergarten and phonics-based "Learning to Read" program. This expansion will allow families to partner with us from the very start of their child's educational journey, extending enrollment from Kindergarten through 12th grade.
